Mission Centre advices Christians who try to find their way into worldwide mission. We emphasize "calling", but also accommodate candidates to find organizations and vacancies which might fit them. Many mission organizations are enthousiastic with this initiative.

Mission Possible

How do you know if mission is "your thing"? Do you have a calling to go into mission? How do you know? And even when you know you have a calling to join world evangelization, then you'll soon find out that there are many international mission organizations, mission fields, mission forms and vacancies. These many choices can dazzle you.

Then it will be a relieve to have the help of an objective advisor. Someone who can listen to you, who has first hand experience and also knows what you will encounter in mission, someone who believes that your life is a "Mission Possible"!

Objective advisor

Mission Centre is such an objective partner in this discussion. We aim to bring people to the right spot, whether this spot is mission or not, with mission organization A, B or C; for a long term or a short term… In personal discussions at conferences, by e-mail or telephone the Mission Centre advisor is there to assist you in your search.

All advisors have mission experience or were at least closely connected to mission. Sometimes they will not have ready made answers, but they can help find the answers you need, they can give you direction and indicate the pitfalls.

Mission Centre's website gives extensive information and practical assistance about the possibilities to join mission. We trust we can help you, as a mission candidate, a few steps further in your voyage.

The website provides a job search, which we keep up- to- date. You can base your search on various criteria, like education, experience, short or long term service etc.

Our head office is in the Netherlands and we aim at accommodating Dutch candidates in their search for their possible role in mission. Our possibilities to advice candidates from outside the Netherlands are still limited. In that case we may refer candidates to an organization who is able to help in their country.
